The cover of the journal is a lime green shade. It reads e.e. cumming's quote "I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes." along with an image of a lovely tree.
The inside cover is the same color as the outer cover, though the photo shows white. The photo is simply to show how the pages and center binding appear in our journals.

This book is great to stick in your purse, travel bag, car, etc. so that you can draw and write wherever life takes you. It is also lovely to keep as a journal or to use as a work or school notebook.
