..originally used to ship a set of encyclopedia books by that name
The good:
..great little display piece
..how can you go wrong with something called "The Book of Knowledge"
..print is one one end, and the part of the original shipping label is on the other end (it was shipped to Kansas)- both are interesting to look at
The imperfect:
..wood is weathered, faded and worn
..some chips and cracks in the wood (see pictures), but it is still a sturdy crate for its age
size: 15 1/8" long, 10 3/4" wide, 7 1/2" tall
