The ivory enamel is very luminous and shows off beautifully against the skin. Made of gold vermeil over sterling with a guilloche pattern of leaf veins showing through the pale ivory enamel.
The little stem hangs below the ear when worn because of the back ear clip position. This is shown best in the 4th photo, comparing the front of the earring to the back.
Length: 1 1/4" (3.175 cm)
Width: 7/16" (1.11125 cm)
The earrings are in beautiful condition. The enamel is clean and clear of scratches, chips, or cracks. The clips work perfectly. The vermeil finish is completely intact, and the earrings have been polished with only a light hand to hold the original finish.
Each earring is marked: STERLING, DENMARK, HANDMADE Brd. B.
Brødrene Bjorklund had a silver workshop in Copenhagen from 1961 to 1971.
