The Tree of Life is a concept that's been featured in myth, story and legend literally all around the world. Since ancient times, people have used variations on the theme. Connecting all things - the realms of the spirit, the physical, the Divine and the mundane - the roots of the Tree and the branches touch all things and bring them together in harmony.
This pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques. Permanently colored gunmetal (over copper core) wire encircles the pendant, and is then used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree.
This tree is bare of leaves like one would see in Winter and features a large, Fire Crackle Blue Agate coin bead as the full moon. Fire Crackle Agate is made by taking a natural agate and heating it, which causes unique patterns within and enhancing the stone. The blue is a deep, rich, dark midnight blue with darker "veins" of color throughout.
The agate is one of the oldest stones in recorded history, having been used in jewelry since Biblical Babylonian times! Said to aid in healing and protection, it's associated with the Moon and the planet Mars.
The pendant measures approximately 1.5" (approx 37mm) in diameter not including bail. (Approximately 2" including bail.) It can be worn on any cord or chain of your choice. You will receive the exact pendant shown.

Fire Crack Agate comes in a random, mixed lot so I never get more then one or two of this color per strand, making it rare and limited availability.
