For this one-of-a-kind bracelet I have created a tiny vingette using an antique frozen Charlotte doll, paper, miniatures and moss. The antique watch case dates to the 20's or 30's and measures 1 1/4". The pleather band is very comfortable and can be adjusted from 6" to 8".

*******************So What is a Frozen Charlotte You Ask?********************

Frozen Charlotte dolls are based on a poem written in 1840 by Seba Smith called, "Young Charlotte". It is somewhat a sad story, but more a story of undying love.

Many were produced in Germany and are not jointed or "frozen". The dolls I use come from Germany. The grounds of old doll factories are being excavated and many of these little dolls are being found. Buried in the ground, because they were broken or less than perfect.

I fell in love with these dolls the first time I saw them, and enjoy brining them back to life!
