You haven’t really ever had garlic powder unless you’ve had it homemade. When you add homemade garlic powder to your cooking, it actually adds the flavor of fresh garlic, not just an imitation of it. You won’t need very much to add a lot of flavor to your food – it packs a punch! I use a slow low-heat dehydration process to preserve all of the fresh garlic flavor, and keep my batches small so I can make sure they are up to my standards.
"Garlic Dust" will flavor anything from pizza takeout to homemade meals without adding texture. "Garlic Flakes" will reconstitute as you cook, so use them if you want little pieces of garlic in what you’re making.
