Why It's A Holiday written by Ann McGovern and illustrated by Dagmar Wilson
Copyright 1960, First Edition, Hardcover 64 pages.
This book is 9" tall and 7" wide

A great book describing our American holidays. Each page is beautifully illustrated.

It's interesting which holidays were most important in 1960.
Halloween and Valentine's Day have small mentions while
Labor Day and Columbus Day have 2 pages.

On the last picture you will see the contents page that lists the holidays covered in this book.

The book is in good vintage condition for its age.
The binding is tight and the pages are free of tears.
The dustcover of the hardcover does have some minimal wear.
The illustrations are so charming in this book.
They would be cute framed or used for other creative projects.
