I have been working on a collection of quilts suitable for the American Girl, Sasha or Beautiful Girlhood dolls. While I would not claim that they are absolutely historically accurate, these true-to-scale quilts are made with muslin or flannel and small-scale prints appropriate to an earlier era.

This one is 21" X 22 1/2". Each little square is 1 1/2". I make a lot of little girls' nighties, so I have plenty of 100% cotton flannel scraps. I carefully selected and placed each little bit of fabric to create an attractive scrap pattern. It's a delightful soft fluff of a doll quilt, in bright clear pastels.

After piecing, I machine quilted it with a nice, soft cotton flannel batting, using my favorite long-staple Egyptian cotton thread. Using cotton flannel instead of polyester batting gives it a proportional, vintage feeling with a nice drape.

The backing and rolled binding are made of a dainty rose-sprigged lattice print. Flannel, of course.

This quilt is ready to ship, but I also have special order options in my store listings.

Shipping is $5, no matter how many doll quilts you buy.

Although any of these quilts would be nice collectors' display items, I hope they will become beloved and well-used by little girls. Because I value child safety, all of the fabrics are prewashed to complete shrinkage and rid them of excess dye and chemicals. You can machine-wash and dry this quilt.

Glory Quilts is dedicated to providing delightful classes and excellent quilts. I have been teaching workshops across the United States for nearly twenty years, and I sell some class samples as well as unique and special order quilts and garments.

The discerning buyer will understand the difference between an heirloom-quality item and those mass-produced imports sold as "hand crafted" by the thousand. Each of my items, whether a garment, accessory or quilt, is very personal. I do all of my own sewing in my home. No one here smokes, and we have no pets.

I ship by priority mail within three days of your confirmed Paypal payment. Shipping within the United States is $5 and includes delivery confirmation. I expect payment within three days of the sale.
