Vintage Necklace Pendant Die Cut Steel Glass Cabachon 'Dog Tag' Style Interesting Piece ~ An Unsigned Beauty.
This vintage pendant Necklace is fashioned from a die cut metal, possibly steel which has an interestingly coloured Glass Cabachon in forest green tones with gold, beige and red flecks which make it appear similar to picture jasper.
It has no signature or makers marks so I can not tell whether it is Murano glass or not. It is certainly an Artisan piece and has considerable charms without being signed or attributed. The necklace measures 22" and the Pendant is 2" long and 1" wide. The glass cabachon, an oval, measures 30mm long and is 22mm wide.
The overall impression is that of a machine age 'Dog Tag' aesthetic, stepping right out of the 1970s!
