The brooch has a ruby red 'jewel' from a vintage (paste) necklace as a centre piece and this picks up the red in the floral fabric beautifully. It is an eye catching, classically beautiful brooch.
The large fabric heart is blanket stitched to two cream felt hearts to give strength and shape to the brooch and the brooch back is securely hand sewn to the back.
We have these as pretty finishing touches on our handbags and also on wicker baskets around our home - very shabby chic!
As with all my work this is neatly and professionally finished and comes carded and tissue wrapped. It is then sent in a bubble wrap envelope to ensure safe receipt. From a smoke free home.
