Offered here is this fabulous pair of vintage sterling silver and amber pierced earrings. These earrings feature an open filigree design of sterling silver, on sterling pierced earwires, with a triangular piece of polished Baltic amber dangling below. The amber is a warm dark honey color and you can see inclusions in it. These earrings are stamped on the inside portion of the earwires with 925 and a star with a hammer and sickle inside, and also some other symbols that I can't make out., I believe the star with the hammer and sickle indicates that they are Russian made. They measure about a 1 ¾ inch dangle and about 7/8 inch wide.
This gorgeous pair of pierced earrings is in good vintage condition with little evident wear, just a bit of darkening here and there on the silver, which could be polished up. Please see my pictures as they are always a good representation of the condition of my items, there has been no retouching of flaws in my listing photos.
