Most of the woods we use have been saved from someones burn pile or from being discarded into the landfill. We like the idea of turning something that wasn't going to be used into something beautiful and useful.
The woods we have reclaimed are really quite beautiful and the colors are amazing! We never use stain on any of our work. We only use a clear gloss lacquer to make the beauty of the natural wood come out.
The cross itself is about 1 5/8" wide and 3 1/4" tall. The black cord is about 29 1/2" long and easily slips over the head.
