These 1cent Canadian postage stamps were first issued in 1967. They feature an elegant portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with Aurora borealis (the Northern Lights) and a husky dog team in the background.
The stamps have an earthy, neutral color palette of sepia (dark brown) and off white. They look very natural and eco-friendly.
All of these stamps are cancelled and off of paper. There may be some minor imperfections but they only add authentic antique character; overall these are all in wonderful condition!
Not only can these stamps be appreciated by philatelic collectors & enthusiasts, they can also be used for decorative paper crafting, card making, collages, scrapbooking, journaling, jewelry making and more! Sorting and organizing stamps offers endless hours of soothing relaxation for both the young and old. Getting your kids into stamps at a young age will help them to be better organized in the future.
