Here are 5 vintage enamel canisters with the words 'cafe, farine, the, sucre and poivre'. They are different size and are white enamel with blue detail. The all have a lid.
They are a set of five (although I think there were originally 6 but one is missing).
The words on the front have faded a lot, I am sure they were bright blue words and now almost all the blue has faded off, leaving just a light grey word (see photos). The largest that says 'sucre' is the most unclear and also the 'farine'.
Size of largest canister:
hieght with lid on:18cm (7 inches)
diameter at the base:12cm (4.7 inches)
These enamel canisters are very worn and discoloured. There are many areas where the white enamel has come off and the areas are rusted. The large white lid has no blue on the dege. There are many small marks and scratches on the white as well as the chips in the enamel. Many small places have enamel chippied off, especially on the rims and the lids.
In some places someone has put white paint to cover some chips and rust.
The words are very faded and missing blue colour.
They are VERY worn with lots of scratches but still sturdy.
The lids also have a lot of enamel missing with rusted areas.
These canisters are worn.
Please note that I ship from France so shipping times are longer.
