I have sewn this free size poncho tunic with vintage stretchy poly fabric which reminds of inka prints. Colorful and lightweight.
It has some basic shaping around the neck and arm holes, the sides are not sewn closed entirely, there is a short diagonal seam under the arm opening so that the tunic won't ride up when you lift your arms. Also keeps it from falling off as a traditional poncho may do. This makes it more flattering than just 2 rectangles sewn together, the top part is slightly narrower than the swinging bottom.
It should fit a variety of women sizes,suitable for plus sizes as well. Roughly M to plus size.
Length from shoulder to hem 27"
Width across measured below the underarm openings 34", this gives generous 68" all around the bust and at the bottom hem.
Head opening measured across with tunic laying flat approx. 10"
Arm holes approx. 9,5"
Fake turquoise suede (polyester) around the head opening in the front and across the shoulders.
Wash in cool water by hand and hang to dry.
