HISTORY OF TIN:
Salvaged in Calumet, Minn. Circa 1910
~Our tin panels are built onto a handmade wooden frame (see last photo), with picture wire on the back and ready to hang. The history of the tin (as much as we know) is written on the back of every frame.
~This tin maintained very little original paint....just a few specks here and there. It has been painted black & then buffed to bring out the pattern and patina of the old metal. The panel has been sealed with a clear matte finish. EVERYTHING we do is done by us & done by hand...no spray painting, no nail guns.
We have been selling antique ceiling tin for the past 13 years. All of our tins are OLD, salvaged from American buildings dating around 1900. Please visit our photo album for shots of furniture, mirrors, shelves, mantles, headboards, etc. The album can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/antiquetin/
WE SHIP ON TUESDAYS & will combine shipping on multiple purchases when possible.
Buyers from Alaska & Hawaii, please convo with us regarding your shipping costs.
