Oh, my! This 1950s strapless party dress is an absolute confection - a Princess Lollipop dream, so fanciful and frilly! I think it would make a positively amazing non-traditional wedding dress. It's all red nylon net and pale pink lace. This pink lace is intended to be pink - it is NOT bleed from the red. Made by Cotillion Formals, it is lined with a light pink acetate satin. Two tiers of scalloped lace create the bust, while the mid-waist features an overlay of pleated red net (it's so slimming!) The skirt is a full EIGHT tiers of alternating net and lace, with an underskirt of pale pink tulle, with three gathered tiers for fullness. And there is plenty of room for your favorite crinoline, too! (As shown.) The dress closes on the side with a metal zipper.
Label: Cotillion Formals
Condition Very Good
This dress is just lovely - it has been freshly drycleaned and pressed, and is ready to be worn. The front stays of the bodice have a little bowing from wear, but this is minimal. I find no other issues to note! A charming piece.
