I created this project because my son wanted a house for boys but I didn't want it taking up his entire bedroom.
This is a folding fabric fire house. Because you can create your own, you pick the colors. If you want it to match the current room's decor or be your child's favorite color it's easy to do by picking the fabric you want to use.
This project is perfect if you want your child to have a fire house but don't want it taking up all your space. Great for everyone! If you have an apartment it's great. If you don't have a designated playroom it's great. If you do have a playroom but want more space it's great. If you want something for the children to play with at grandma's it's great. It really is great for everyone!
The completed fire house measures approximately 50 inches tall and 25 inches wide when all set up, but can be collapsed down and stored because it folds to approximately 25 x 14 x 2 1/2 inches. Perfect for sliding under the bed or placed in a box with all the fire trucks, airplanes and little men.
The e-pattern is very easy to follow with pictures for every step. The pattern is 32 pages because it is so informative with it's instructions, descriptions and lots and lots of pictures (also a large portion is pictures to use to create the scenes of the fire house).
