The model is M237, a British Rail locomotive.
It was made in the Great Britain by Rovex Industries Ltd and comes complete with the original box.
Both items are stainless chromiun plated and were manufactured in Sheffield England .
It measures 10 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/3 inches high.
The condition is very good, it is lovely and clean and works perfectly.
The box has a little wear and a bit where the price sticker has torn off, but overall it's a quality toy in fine fettle for the age.
It would make a super addition to any collection or be an excellent practical toy, or display piece.
