Close-up Dragonfly Earrings are colorful earrings made with sterling silver wire. Each earring has a picture of a beautiful sunny landscape with a dragonfly.

I made the earrings using oxidized sterling silver wire which after that I gently polish to bring back some of its shine.
First I made the frame structure of the earrings. In a closed semicircle I created a picture - in one of the earrings there is a dragonfly flying over some water and a green scenery, while in the other there is a close-up on the dragonfly wings and the sun.
After that I painted the pictures in gentle light colors - lemon yellow for the sun, light cobalt blue for the dragonfly wings and the water, and light green for the leaves of grass. The effect of the whole piece is of a stained glass window.
The colors are very beautiful and change their intensity and appearance depending on the light. In smooth light they look a bit humble, but when they catch the light they are quite shiny.
