This very elegant handle is made from Thuya Burl Wood, which is super rare, coming from the mountains of Morroco. It actually grows underground from the roots of the tree. It is no longer exported from the country, & is kept for the local artists. The shaft is Bubinga, which matches very well with the Thuya Burl. A consistent tight grain pattern The accents consist of Ebony, Zebrawood, & Brass. All parts are mechanically secured internally. The design of this handle has a great ergonomic shape & feel to it. Pic's do not convey! Baby bottom smooth to the touch. Has a hi-teck satin oil based finish with no need for further maintenance.This finish is also used on flooring, tough & durable. Wipe with a damp cloth. Stylish & functional with a 3/4" rubber end (for safety). The handle is 5 1/4" by 1 1/4" wide. Cane is 37" long, & can be shortened 6" in length, useful for people from 4' 10'' to 6' 3". Size measurement - from ground to where wrist bends.
