The centerpiece on this one is so pretty! The Miriam Haskell looking small brooch features a cluster of dainty white flowers accented with antique gold centers that have been adorned with clear sparkly crystals. I've flanked this on one side with a cluster of round milk glass beads accented with gold and another cluster with milky white beads and gold bead center. The next outer layer includes a gold swirl with more clear rhinestones and a gorgeous gold iris with a raindrop shaped crystal accent. Finishing out the necklace is another cluster of white and brushed gold beads and an ornate piece with wite round cabochon on lace white enameled piece accented with gold. Such a lacy, feminine and vintagey combination. You won't find another necklace like it in the world to be sure.
They just don't make jewelry like these pieces any more. The jewels are securely attached to a new gold plated base. Necklace has a gold plated chain and lobster clasp with extender chain so the length can be adjusted from between 16 1/2" and 19 1/2". I've added a lace white "sugared" bead and crystal dangle to the extender chain so that the necklace will look pretty from the back as well. I can customize the length for a perfect fit if needed (no extra charge). To give a better idea of scale, the center jewel is about 1 3/8 inches in diameter. It looks great dressed up for the ball, for your special day, or with your favorite jeans and t-shirt.
Pictures just do not do this justice! I have sold several of this style in the past and all the comments were very positive; clients said it was even prettier in person!
See my shop for vintage earring necklaces, bracelets, rings, and hair jewels in this style for brides and also in colors other than whites. They make wonderful gifts for the maid of honor, bridesmaids, and mother of the brides. I love to combine shipping and almost always ship within one business day of receiving payment.
Regarding quality - I have been making these necklaces and bracelets for years now having sold them first on eBay and now, exclusively on Etsy (I believe I was the only one selling these on Etsy when I started). Besides using good quality silver and gold plated bases, I use a commercal grade adhesive and guarantee the jewels will not come off. I spend a great deal of time not only selecting the jewels, but also carefully removing the earring clip or screw backs and then hand filing any rough spots to ensure that the jewels will set straight on the bracelet. I have had clients tell me that they have purchased this style jewelry from others on Etsy and were disapponted to find that either the jewels were not straight, the jewels came off, and/or there was adhesive showing on the back. If you read through my feedback, you will find that my clients continue to be very happy with the quality of the pieces they purchase from my shop as well as the outstanding customer service.
Thanks for looking and enjoy your day!
