It was thrown on the wheel out of a white stoneware clay and has been fired in the kiln to 2200 degrees f, It is food, microwave and dishwasher safe, yea! We are proud to use a high quality smooth white stoneware clay. This clay body is incredibly durable once fired to temperature and offers a great surface for our vibrant glazes. Once stoneware is heated it retains that heat keeping your beverage nice and toasty! With a little TLC our stoneware pieces will last forever. This mug measures Approx 4 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter at the lip.
