This OOAK pillow cover is repurposed from two vintage hand embroidered collarette style necklinenes. They would have been originally part of an ethnic folk costume called "kroj" from Slovakia. The body of the pillow cover is made from a vintage hand loomed cotton bed sheet. The embroidery work is absolutely amaizing. I have added a contrasting green satin piping. It has a zip fastening at the back.
This pillow cover is part of my summer 2012 collection. If you would like to find out more:
Bare in mind that vintage materials were used to make this pillow. Therefore it should be treated with care. Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Line dry and iron while still damp.
