I found this Pyrex ovenware dish at a local estate sale. I don't collect any mid-century housewares but this turquoise color and the Amish butterprint pattern had me sold!
It's a 2.5 quart size and in excellent condition! The handles are pristine, no scratches in the color (where you so often see wear) and the slightly raised white design is perfect! Just a couple of tiny brown scuff marks on the bottom.
From the research I've done, this "butterprint" design appears to have been first released in 1957 (this bowl is marked with style 475-B on the bottom) but this particular size of larger casserole appears to have been released in 1961.
Would look perfect in a mid-century/retro kitchen!
Size: 8.75" diameter at rim, 10.75" long including handles, 3.75" high
