~ BERRIES ~ antique print 88 years old
Absolutely beautiful richly coloured CHROMOLITHOGRAPH printed in Saxony (Germany) in 1924 and was first printed in the 1800s. The print has text in English. There is a vaste difference between a chromolithograph and the common more modern off-set lithograph printing - the difference is hard to see online but in person - reality - it is so obvious. The paper is thick, the back is blank, the ink is rich!
This lovely item is 88 years old.
The Chromolithograph is original and was originally published in an antique encyclopaedia. It is BLANK on the back and has no rips or major marks, in fact it is in delightful condition. One bottom corner has been partly folded in the past but it is not unsightly and would not show once framed. If you love berries this is for you!
This would be so beautiful framed. The colours are rich. The berries look delicious and edible!
If you have not seen a chromolithograph before you will be amazed at the beautiful colour. The pigments are rich and the printing really has quite a different quality to other forms of printing.
The overall size of this Chromolithograph (with margins) is 10 1/4" x 7".
Comes to you in a new clear sleeve, carefully packaged flat, protected with firm cardboard for a safe journey to you.
Vintageinclination always includes special extras also!
