A fabulous turn of the century Rayo No. 39 WB Railroad Lantern made by Bradley and Hubbard. With all of its original parts intact and in fine condition and character. A wonderful lantern to use or for display -- perfect for rustic decor or a cabin getaway. Full of character and plenty of stories to tell when the lights go down and the stars come out...

A few fun facts:
WB stands for wire bottom, and 39 most likely indicates the globe size. Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing was formed in 1875 but dates back even further when refining of crude oil began and kerosene lamps began replacing whale oil lamps.

There is a light bit of surface rust ( easily oiled and cleaned ) and two dings in the very top metal hood. The glass globe is in need of a cleaning but otherwise perfect and showing some wonderful air bubbles and is embossed with Rayo no. 39 , made in USA as is the upper metal lid to the lantern.

The lantern measures 16.5" h x 7.5" w at base x 9" w where handle attaches
