Todays find is an antique diamond wedding set in 14K White gold. Stamped inside the ring is 14K and "The Wells of Joy" a design name, i suppose. Love these old sets! This set has a center old cut transitional diamond of .25Ct or 4.1mm and 15 side diamonds that weigh about .25 carats. Those side stones would be a about 1.4mm or a little over one point each. They are bead set in and around the engagement ring and the curved wedding band.Total diamond weight is .50 carats (1/2 carat) Diamonds are estimated at VS Clarity and H color. Older diamonds are just prettier. The set is currently a size 8.25 and could be sized up or down by any jeweler that works in white gold. If they were mine, I would have them soldered together so they would stay together on the finger. Measures 8.9mm N-S, 13,4mm E-W, 2.4mm bottom of shank, and 7.5mm rise off of the finger.
Weighs 3.9 Grams of solid 14K White gold. These measurements are with the rings together.
Actual item is pictured but greatly enlarged for detail. Please see measurements for actual size
All measurements are estimated and taken in mounting.
