This dress is one of my favorite 1950s wiggle dresses that I have ever seen -- if only it fit me, I would never ever let it go! The sophisticated shape contrasts so wonderfully with the subtle whimsy of the faux cross stitch print, and the unique construction of the bust makes this dress incredibly special and unique. Slip it on with a pair of your highest pumps and a dab of your reddest rouge; it will be perfect to wear to a wedding, to an end-of-summer garden party, to the theatre, or for any other especially special event. It is difficult to see how amazing the cut and construction of this dress is because of the elaborate print, so look closely at the third and fourth photos to see the way it has been layered and put together over and below the bust. A simply lovely, madly gorgeous dress!
This beautiful dress was custom made over 50 years ago and is in phenomenal condition -- it is truly a treasure and one of a kind! There is not another one like it in all the world!!
