The nest and exterior of the eggs are left unglazed to maintain a lovely matte, textured surface. I chose a subtle ecru color for the eggs and speckled them in soft brown. The shakers are glazed on the inside with turquoise or pesto green for contrast and food safety. Please select your glaze choice in the comment section of the order.
Eggs measure just under 2" tall with a 5/8" hole in the bottom and a plastic, food safe stopper to fit. Nest measures appoximately 4.5" wide by 1.5" deep and comes with a felted bottom to protect your surfaces.
As each is handmade, the set you receive might vary slightly from the one pictured.
