This antique tin frame has a door which has a glass inserted in it so customers could see the contents of the box and would have easy access to the merchandise.The glass on this piece is still intact. The antique lid or door is hinged and opens and closes easily.

This is truly a unique and interesting piece of early American advertising from the baking industry. We thought that perhaps it might hold a special piece of antique advertising ephemera or a picture from the era, or because of its depth, perhaps it could be repurposed into a display case or shadow box!! So many great possibilities.
