The phone has been tested to call out, dial smoothly, and rings great. Even has a ringer volume adjust knob on the bottom.
The phone's dial card has been updated, as has the wall cord. Its ready to plug right in!
Red is a special color to find in rotary phones. They didnt make very many, but they are so beautiful they are highly sought after even 50 yrs later. The body looks really good and has very little wear on it. Ive polished it up to give it an extra bit of shine. There is still some residue from a sticker on the underneath of the cradle. See in pic 4. The only issue I really see to point out is the base/bottom is pretty rusted. However, the footpads are still in good shape so as to protect your furniture. Rusting is pretty common on these for some reason. There are also the standard refurb stickers on the bottom from AT&T (from when phones were leased and not owned).
This is a knock-out red phone. Ive seen many and for some reason the red ones REALLY hold their beauty. Maybe its the depth of the color but they just dont seem to age. I love them and this one is a winner.
All in all, a beautiful special phone.
