This barn owl pendant is made of fine silver, and formed with the impression of an antique wax seal. Each piece is carefully created by hand from precious metal clay, or PMC, and then fired in my kiln. Fine silver is .999% pure silver (as compared to sterling silver, which is only .925% pure).
I like to make my pendants nice and thick so that they have a substantial feel to them. I've carved my initials and the year it was created into the back to create a unique and treasured piece. I've also added an antique patina, which creates contrast between the owl and the silver face of the pendant. This pendant measures just shy of 7/8" wide and tall. This charm comes with an 18" sterling silver chain so that your pendant is ready to wear.
