  • Art Deco bracelet rhinestone book piece, this fabulous circa 1920 original is an antique beauty. Art Deco jewelry was all about design, the pieces were intricately crafted into geometric shapes on highly pierced open frames and this vintage bracelet is simply one of the finest examples of the extraordinary craftsmanship of the era. This spectacular piece is featured in Warman’s Vintage Jewelry Identification and Pricing Guide, by Leigh Leshner.

The significant heavy rhodium setting features very elaborately designed geometric links in large squares and ovals that are encrusted with pave set crystal rhinestones. The design elements just don’t stop and are repeated down to the push box clasp that mimics the double connector bars, and assures the continuity of the piece. The bracelet measures 7 ¼ inches in length and 1 inch in width, and is quite substantial. It is one of those rare beauties that come along very infrequently. The rhodium setting is flawless and exceptionally clean.

There is a slight loss of plating on the back of the box clasp, evident in the last photo. The stones have escaped the ravages of time and still offer a real show of brilliance. The piece is not hallmarked, but possesses every asset that denotes high end designer quality, and no collector or individual who wishes to own it will be disappointed.
