Today I have for you a one of a kind up-cycled girl's skirt. I started with a very gently used " Gap Kids " Brand size 5 linen skirt with cotton eyelet trim around the pockets and along the bopttom hem and wrap panel. I would call the style of this skirt faux wrap, since the panels are all attached to a set waistband that closes by way of a side zipper . To this already very cute girl's skirt I added fiber reactive procion dye in water like shades of green and turquoise blue. The result is this darling little skirt sure to make a little girl in your life very happy.
We upcycle only very gently used items, giving them new life with our dyes and keeping them out of our landfills and usable for years to come. We use high quality fiber reactive procion dyes which are known to permanetly bond to the fibers of the shirt providing a lifetime of vibrant color. We take time and care to remove all excess dye and wash the finished product with an ultra gentle dye and fragrance free soap to provide a shirt that is ready for immediate wear as soon as it arrives in the mail.
