This quick project makes Fingerless Monkey Mittens that are soft, very stretchy, and fun. You’ll love them!
The pattern is available here as an instant download. It is 6 pages of easy to follow directions with 12 instructional photos and charts for stitching the face. Several additional photos show all sizes up close. Final measurements are given and suggested yarns. You'll be making these for everyone!
The 4 sizes are:
Adult Extra Small (Child Medium)
Adult Small (Child Large)
Adult Medium (Women’s)
Adult Large (Men’s Medium)
Basic knitting skills are all that's needed - these are easy to make.
These mittens are either knit with 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together and knitted as if one strand (any Worsted Weight yarn will do) - or, a single strand of Bulky or Roving weight yarn - instructions are for either. There are no side seams - these monkeys are knit on a set of double pointed needles. Do up a pair over the weekend!
Do you or someone you know need a little Sock Monkey love? - Here is your answer!
