The art-to-go line is made from vintage broken maps, vintage images, and art scrap carefully cut by hand to create a beautiful piece. There may be touches of new elements here and there, but the piece is mostly vintage. At least twelve different steps are involved in the crafting of each unique piece. There won't be another one quite like yours.
There’s one to suit everyone you know – the history buff, the sports buff, the person in-the-buff. The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker.
A little card comes with each art piece, indicating when the maps, paper, and images that were used were made. It also serves as proof of authenticity.
The lamination gives the artwork a shiny, 'embossed' look. A clear synthetic loop for the slit or hole at one end is also provided. But you may of course replace that with a ribbon or carabiner. They are weatherproof, but not waterproof. You could use them as tags for your check-in luggage, but we all know how much rough handling luggage goes through, eh?
Yes, I give discounts if you wish to purchase several pieces.
