Eloxal is an aluminum alloy used for jewelry making in the late 40's thru the 60's. Much of the German metalwork jewelry is unusual and has held up remarkably well over the years. The reason for this is this unique metal which they used to construct the pieces. Eloxal is very lightweight and will not tarnish. Because it is so lightweight, some disregard it as plastic or junk. It is not, it is highly collectible and remarkably well made. It has the added benefit of being scratch "resistant".
There is more Eloxal in the shop and I will be listing more of this wonderful metal jewelry, so please stop back often. tubbytabby.etsy.com
