Primitive salvaged vintage feedsack patchwork quilt piece hand quilted shabby old scrap 9-patch cutter quilt craft supply cottage chic for your prim crafting needs

Vintage quilt piece is primitive, tattered, shabby, old, worn, faded, vintage scrap cotton feedsack patchwork and is hand quilted. It has been salvaged and cut from a well loved and used quilt that was hand pieced and hand quilted in the 1930's. It shows definite signs of use and wear. Very faded soft subtle colors. Quilt was well beyond wear of its original intended use.

The quilt piece you will receive is shown in the photos. It measures approx. 16" x 16" , but isn't exactly square. The main colors are pink, light blue, and a shabby white with a touch of green and yellow. The outside border edge is pink, gray and white and is not even all the way around. The edges are raw and unfinished.

View all photos as part of the description. I have put a yard stick in one photo to give you an idea of the size of the quilt piece. Have provided 2 closeup photos. Keep in mind that the cutter quilt piece has a very shabby vintage faded worn look and is cut from a previously used cutter quilt and there are several imperfections in this piece such as fabric fading, thinning, loose threads in the seams, areas where batting is showing through, spots, stains and holes that add to the beauty and charm of this crafting supply item, that makes it even more perfect for primitive crafting.

If you would like to view other photos, please contact me before purchasing. Remember this quilt was made approx. 70 years ago and is by no means perfect. If you are not familiar with cutter quilts or the term, cutter quilt, it means that the quilt has been previously well loved and used and is well beyond its original intended use and is now a crafting supply. Convo me with any questions. Each of my cutter quilt pieces has a special charm and carries with it memories of days gone by.

I do my best to disclose any imperfections an item may have. View all photos as part of the description. Please look at pictures carefully and use the zoom option, by clicking on each photo, when it becomes the larger main photo you are viewing, you can click on it and photo will enlarge even more for closer viewing.

This quilt piece's batting/filler (middle layer) is 2 old thin blankets, which quilters often used back in the day, when they used whatever they had on hand. The quilt piece is clean and ready to craft with.

This quilt piece is awaiting your creativity to allow a piece of the past to live on.

This quilted piece is great for making a pillow, tote bags or purses, use in scrapbooking, cardmaking, decorating gift bags, great for altered art, collage, mixed media, assemblage, jewelry, ornaments, repair or patch an old quilt, embellishments on wearable art clothing, incorporate it into your stitchery and just use your imagination for other endless possibilities.

Great for your primitive crafting!!!
