TO CARE FOR THIS ITEM:
Lightly scrub with a damp soapy sponge to clean the surface of this rolling pin. Not much effort is required to remove flower and dough. Dry immediately afterward with a towel.
Do NOT soak the rolling pin in a sink or put in a dishwasher. The water will cause the wood to expand, warp and possibly split.
Reapply coats of food-safe oil every month or so with a sponge or paper towel. I recommend using vegetable oil because most people already have some in their kitchen and it works very well to seal and protect the surface. Mineral oil is also an excellent choice.
