For sale is wonderfully weathered vintage wooden crate which was used for shipping bottles of Graf's Soda, which was manufactured in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mostly famous for it's root beer, which was first brewed by John Graf way back in 1873, ownership of Graf's has changed hands many times since 1968. To this very day, very small quantities of Graf's root been other than that of John Graf. Cool huh?

Complete with great graphics this crate would make a great display piece in your home bar or man cave. Perfect for displaying old records, books, liquor bottles, knick-knacks, etc.

The two longer sides of the crate have the Graf's logo in a nice bright blue ink. Below the logo in bright red text is "Fine Beverages. Milwaukee, Wis." The two smaller sides have a small image of the head of John Graf along with the text "Shell Deposit 40 cents. Title is retained by Graf's Beverages, Inc. Milwaukee, Wis. Bailor." Finally, on the inside of the crate are two red stamps of ink identifying the location and date that the crate was manufactured. This text reads "Sturdy Bilt by Southern Wooden Box INC. Jonesboro, Ark. 3/61."

Measurements (L x W x H): 16 1/8” x 11.5" x 12 1/8"

Item Condition - Very good vintage condition! Wood box has a nicely weathered patina(small scratches, scuffing, soilage, small white paint spots, light deterioration of wood, etc). Graphics are nice and bold. Metal bands on sides of crate have rusted nicely over the years yet remain nice and sturdy. There is some water staining on the inside and outside of the box, caused by years of use. Inside of crate is lightly soiled and may require cleaning if you're not into the "dirty" look. All wooden planks remain nice and sturdy. Please refer to the pictures for further details.

Shipping - Sometimes it can be a bit tricky accurately determining shipping costs, especially when shipping internationally. In the event we find that we overcharged you once the item has been shipped we will immediately refund all shipping overage charges in excess of $2.
