This is a set of 3 tie-dye or batik effect fleece backpacks. The purple and red/orange one are strung with white, and the yellow with black super thick yarn. (The yellow one can be restrung with white if you'd like.)
One of these bags would be an AWESOME eco-friendly trick-or-treat bag. The fleece is strong enough to cart around your heavy haul of candy and treats and yet soft and comfortable for little trickers! And if they do what I accidentally did as a kid - leave the chocolate in it and drop it right next to the heating vent, so everything melted - you can just toss it in the washer and dryer.
These great lightweight bags make great gift wrap! If you've got something irregular, like a stuffed animal or one of those toys in hard plastic shrinkwrap, you can toss it in here, tie a piece of ribbon around the neck to keep the little peekers out, and you've given two gifts at once!
• Teachers! These make great organizers. I put everything I need for a center in a bag and then color coordinate my rotation chart to the bags. (My 'octopus' group is in the red center first...) This makes containing things like math manipulatives, cards and art supplies so simple and storage is a breeze. I have hooks in the back of the room where kids can hang them and retrieve them as needed.
• Parents! Have someone who wants to bring the Whole Wide World in the car for a long trip? These bags are great for containing everything. Let them pack their books and toys in the bag. If it fits, it goes. It helps little ones prioritize and make choices and keeps the entire bookshelf and toybox from ending up in the back seat of your car.
• Students! These are great for carting your gym uniform back and forth to school. When you get those dirty clothes home, you can just toss the bag in with the t-shirts and socks and repack it as soon as they're clean so you're ready to go for the next day.
This bag is 11 inches across by 15 inches high.
Machine washable and dryable: Turn inside out, cold water wash, cool dry, no bleach, no ironing.
