Making these pitted and textured beads is fun! I started with an ivory base, added silvered ivory and melted in well. The final step is surprising! it's rolled in baking soda! Then I reintroduce it into the flame, repeating for about 3 times. It really looks ancient and flecks of silver shine out as you turn the beads. I used 1/16 mandrels. Size is 6x10mm to 7x10mm.
