"Excellence - Beaded in Hong Kong" - this exquisite period piece can be worn by the bride or mother of the bride or to meet the president, of any country, for dinner. It has two metal zippers - one for shift top and one that separates at the bottom of the top. The dress appears to have been let out at the darts, taken up at the waist to shorten the length to above knee - both adjustments done carefully so as to not interfere with the exquisite beadwork. Minor lose threads/missing beads mostly around waist where dress was refitted (before or during tailoring). White floral bead design and trim contrast and enhances ivory gold satin of the body, making this dress stand out, beyond it's simple design.
