The apple slices are about 4.5 by 3.5 inches, not including the stem/loop. I made them with cotton yarn in a natural cream color with red for the peel. There are brown "seeds" and a brown stem which doubles as a hanging loop.
In the interest of full disclosure, I must say that the back side of the slices show the back side of the embroidery, which isn't nearly so cute as the front. This is shown in the final photo. If you prefer, I can remove the seeds.
The basket is made with two strands of yarn held together for sturdiness. It is bright red with two emerald green crochet leaves on the rim and a brown stem. The basket measures about 3 inches tall and 5 inches across at the top.
Because of the tendency for the red yarn to bleed, I suggest washing these by hand in cold water, at least for the first few washings, rolling them in a towel to remove excess water, and then laying them flat to dry.
Thanks for looking!
