Beach worn pottery found in this area usually dates back 100 years or so. However, this is a larger piece and the colour is still quite strong so I'd say it has been in the sea a few decades or so. I wonder whose table it graced?
I wrapped the beach-worn pottery in a silver plated wire in a simple but secure design to show off the pattern. I made an adjustable necklace out of chocolate suedette so you can wear it at different lengths.
