This wonderful old working compass has the patent date marked on the face: April 20th, 1915. Made by the Leedawl company in the WWI era. It has a gorgeous arrow, and I believe it's nickel plated brass. The little knob on the top turns to lock or unlock the needle. The raw brass shows in the inside wall, casting a beatiful warm glow on the face. Gorgeous!
Measures approximately 2 3/8" tall to the top of the loop, 1 5/8" wide, and 3/8" thick.
