Copper brooch made from copper and brass sheet metal that was heat treated.

Copper sheet metal was etched and then soldered between two pieces of brass sheet metal, one of which has been embossed and with the top layer having been sun spot heat colored with my torch. This is a stunning statement piece sure to bring compliments from all who see it. The size of the brooch is 3" long and 2 1/2" wide. The entire brooch was treated with a special jeweler's laquer to protect the beauty of the piece.
