I had a lovely friend who gave me an entire bag of vintage buttons. One of them was the one I used to make the mold for this lovely Art Deco Style button. It's just lovely fluted design, complex in shape, with the beautiful gleam of bronze giving it a lovely glow.
Lush and heavy with a vibrant golden tone (which you can polish from time to time, or let go to a darker bronze finish) these buttons are perfect for the cardigan you have on the needles right now, or to accent a pair of gloves, or to close that cord bracelet you've been planning to make. If you are making a black evening bag, this is perfect for your closure! This is one of those creations where the button comes first, and the project follows after. ; )
Made of bronze clay, they are formed from my custom mold , then kiln fired, and polished for a deep shine.
Each one weighs more than a penny, less than a nickel.
Please hand wash, machine wash on your most delicate cycle in a mesh bag (no dryer), or dry clean.
If you would like, I will include button pin(s) with your order at no extra cost. These are specially designed safety pins that are made to secure buttons to garments securely while making them easily removable. On buttons without a shank (loop on the back) you can create your own shank by threading a few loops of yarn through the buttonholes and tying it off.
