An antiqued old vintage skeleton key, with an heirloom past and story, is paired with a sterling silver, hammered, oxidized, rustic teardrop charm, polished by hand to enhance the silver, which has been hand-stamped with the word "PATIENCE"..as patience is the key. I gave the pendant drop a hammered, almost ripple effect, resembling the tranquil waves on water as it was calming and seemed to pair well with the word PATIENCE, being calm itself.
Dangling from the charming key is a, hand-wired, ivory freshwater pearl. The skeleton key, pendant & pearl suspend from a very hip oxidized ball chain, hand polished to bring out the beautiful contrast, 18" in length, and closes with a lobster claw clasp.
The necklace is sturdy and secure and soldered with only LEAD-FREE solder. The jumprings I use in my designs are all handforged sterling silver, soldered and sturdy.
The size of the key is approx. 1.5 inches.
